HipoBuy warehouse and consolidation: plan around each item

Organize stored orders, inspect them before packing and compare consolidated parcels without assuming guaranteed savings.

HipoBuy's workflow lets products from different merchants reach its China warehouse and allows you to select stored items for parcels. Plan around which accepted items can travel together, rather than assuming every purchase must be combined.

What the 90-day storage statement covers

HipoBuy's help page about purchases arriving at different times, read on 24 October 2026, states that orders can remain in the warehouse free for 90 days after arrival. It allows selection of stored goods on the Warehouse Page for one shipment or several batches. Record each item's own arrival date; a later purchase is not a new start date for the goods already waiting.

This ordinary-order explanation does not set a separate deadline for unidentified or abnormal parcels, a paid-extension rate or an overdue disposal schedule. Do not plan an automatic paid extension from the 90-day statement. For a parcel that is not matched to your order, resolve its identity with the domestic tracking and order reference before treating it as normal stored stock.

Keep one item-level plan

RecordWhy it matters
Order identifier and arrival or stock-in statusKeep unreceived orders separate from goods ready to ship.
QC decision and unresolved issueDo not include an item with an unresolved QC question or aftersales decision.
Return deadlineWaiting for another purchase must not hide the earlier item's decision window.
Storage deadline and extension conditionsUse the current item-specific deadline; ask for the required action before expiry if it is unclear.
Planned parcel and latest practical dispatch dateKnow when to ship accepted goods if a later order has not arrived.

Return and storage deadlines serve different purposes. If a late purchase misses your planned dispatch date, compare sending the ready goods now with waiting under the applicable storage conditions.

Compare consolidation with separate parcels

Use the same goods and destination, but obtain the relevant packed weight and dimensions for each packing option. A larger combined parcel can cross a route limit or become ineligible because of one restricted item. Separate parcels may incur duplicate minimum charges. Compare the complete alternatives; no fixed saving percentage applies to every order.

Use Rehearsal Parcel for packed weight and dimensions

HipoBuy's public service announcement, read on 24 October 2026, lists a fixed fee of CNY 20 per Rehearsal Parcel and says completion is usually within 24 hours. The output is the parcel's weight and dimensions before the international parcel is submitted, allowing a more precise shipping estimate.

  1. Open My Warehouse, select the intended order and choose Rehearsal Parcel.
  2. Enter the delivery address and review the selected goods and packing before paying the CNY 20 service fee.
  3. Open Rehearsal Parcel, choose View Result and review the result before Confirm and Submit.

The announcement calls cancellation easy but does not state when the CNY 20 is refundable, whether changes need another payment or how delay compensation works. If the usual 24 hours pass, keep the rehearsal reference and ask about that job's status before buying a duplicate. Do not treat the usual turnaround as a guarantee or the service fee as an extension of storage or return time.

Give one clear set of packing instructions

Identify which items need original packaging and where excess outer wrapping may be removed. Separate disposable wrapping from tags, accessories and protective parts that must remain. Leave disputed items unchanged until the return question is resolved.

For fragile goods, ask which protection is available and whether it changes route eligibility or dimensions. Compression or box removal may not suit the item's material or shape. State what must be protected instead of asking only for the smallest box.

Resolve discrepancies before dispatch

Match every selected order and quantity to your item table, exclude held or unwanted goods, and review the recipient, route, packing and final quote together. Save the mapping between product orders and the parcel reference.

If the count is wrong, distinguish an order that has not arrived from an accessory missing inside a received item. Provide the domestic tracking number, order identifier and relevant pictures. Keep the final contents list through delivery so any missing-item report identifies exactly what was expected.

Identify which item has arrived

Start with the order reference and the selected option. If you purchased several similar garments, compare their identifiers and descriptions rather than relying on colour alone. Keep the quantity visible so that one photographed item is not mistaken for an entire group.

A seller's dispatch message and a warehouse record describe different events. Likewise, an arrival indication does not by itself mean that every inspection question has been answered. Read the information associated with the item instead of assigning more meaning to a short status label than it provides.

The shopping guide separates these stages from the initial product search and the later international shipment.

Review the item before deciding how to ship it

When inspection images are available, compare the item with the option you ordered. Check obvious mismatches first, then details that matter to your intended use. If dimensions are important, use readable measurements rather than estimating them from perspective.

For a printed top, questions might concern the print position or a visible mark. You can view the white floral-lightbulb T-shirt on OG as a product-reference example. Distinguish listing pictures from the warehouse images attached to your order. Your own item needs its own assessment.

Use the QC photo guide to make any request specific. Asking about one visible concern is more useful than requesting a general reassurance that everything is fine. If a possible issue would change your decision, raise it before authorising onward transport.

Is consolidation always cheaper?

No. The result depends on packing dimensions, route limits, minimum charges and the contents. Compare the actual alternatives.

Match the status and receiving address to your account

The published order-status guide distinguishes Arrived, waiting for inspection, from Stored, warehoused. A seller's dispatch and a warehouse arrival are different events. If a record is missing or inconsistent, privately identify the item, domestic tracking, expected event and current display. Do not treat a question about one item as evidence that the whole planned parcel is missing.

For forwarding, use receiving instructions associated with your own account and service. An address copied from another buyer's comment may lack the reference needed to match your goods. Confirm it before seller dispatch. Keep product-order and outgoing-parcel references separate; an item photo or arrival timestamp does not prove international dispatch.
